The tone wheels for the front sensors are located on the outboard CV-joint housings, which means the CV joint has to be replaced if the ring is damaged. The system has four wheel speed sensors (all of which are nonadjustable). It is an expensive unit (OEM list price $1,510!). It uses an integral master cylinder/hydraulic modulator assembly with a remote pump and motor for power assist braking and anti-lock braking.
